As a fitness competitors we all know the importance of Diet in the Competition Prep. We also know how boring it can get. So here I am, sharing with you one of my favorite COMPETITION BIKINI PREP RECIPE. You will be surprised how with the use of just a few simple ingredients you can surprise not only yourself but your family as well.
Start your day right with Healthy Spinach Egg Cup! Not that it is only 78 calories per muffin, 6 g of Protein, loaded with Vegetables! In case yo want to create even LESS CALORIES & MORE PROTEIN VERSION – use only egg whites instead of the whole egg. Even more, it can be made in advance! so for me it sounds like a Perfect COMPETITION BIKINI PREP RECIPE for Breakfast. Light, Nutritious & Delicious. All you need are just 3 Simple ingredients:
- tomatoes (don’t forget to chop or slice your tomatoes)
Now it is perfect time to prepare your muffin pan by spraying it with coconut oil. Time for some creativity – form your Egg Muffins!
You can be as creative here as you want … make a cozy spinach pillow for your other ingredients; blend everything together etc. So form your Egg Cups & don’t forget to add more flavor by adding salt and pepper at the end.
Now get ready fro our second Grab & Go COMPETITION BIKINI PREP RECIPE – Salmon Deliciousness ! In case you are not a big fan of salmon you more than welcome to substitute this ingredient for any other source of protein: shrimps; chicken; turkey.
Here is all you will need to cook this yummy Protein Packed Muffin:
- hot smoked salmon
- baby bell peppers
- smoked cheddar cheese
- egg whites
Now it is time to chop all of this deliciousness. Put evenly the ingredients into a muffin pan and pour the egg whites on the top. Spring it up with smoky flavor cheese and Vua-la!
NOTE: make sure you are using already precooked fish, meet or what ever you are panning to use as your main protein source for this dish.
I am a “sweet tooth” girl! So I wouldn’t be me if I leave you without a Dessert Variation of these Tasty Egg Muffins. As a fit girls I like to put a Fitness Spin on it. High Protein, no sugar, using simple nutritious ingredients – this is exactly what I mean by “fitness spin”. Eating healthy has never been so easy. I do LOVE these BLUEBERRY OATMEAL EGG MUFFINS and do make those at least once a week. Hope you will enjoy them just as much as I do. So you will add this recipe as your favorite ‘regular’ desserts to your diet.
Prepare yr ingredients and let’s get started:
- old fashioned oatmeal
- flex seeds
- protein powder
- egg whites
Mix all of the ingredients together and let the oats soak in egg whites for about 10 mins or until they double in size.
Than evenly pour all mixture into a muffin pan. Garnish with some goodies if you like. I had decided to add cacao nibs to create more chocolaty flavor.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the tops are firm to the touch.
Let cool in the pan for a few minutes.
Your Healthy Egg Muffins are ready to be served! Enjoy
