Mastering the Bikini Front pose means crafting the perfect «hourglass» shape, a key standard in this division.

This shape comes from a well-developed upper body, a tiny waist, and a toned lower body

When posing, focus on fully showcasing your hourglass figure.

A common mistake we see with new posing competitors is improper pelvic tilt.

On the left: The pelvis is tucked in (posterior tilt). This diminishes the bikini «X» or hourglass effect, making the upper body look narrower, the waist appear wider, and flattening the glutes. The result is a more rectangular shape, not the desired bikini hourglass.

On the right: The pelvis is pushed back (anterior tilt), enhancing overall shape and accentuating muscle development in both the upper and lower body. This widens the shoulders, narrows the waist, and makes the glutes pop, creating that classic bikini hourglass shape.

In posing, every position and angle matters. These side-by-side comparisons show how small adjustments can significantly improve your stage presentation.
